Melissa (mjkirkland) Where are all the members of the group? I've set up a poll by major world regions . . .Please check it out and select where you live. The results will be interesting to all.

If you do the poll again you might want to split North America into Canada, US and Mexico.

Steve, thanks for the suggestions. Depending on the results of this poll, it might be good to do another for North America.

We are taking a post retirement, pre grandkids once in a lifetime adventure. We have rented an apartment in Southern France (Montpellier) and are using it as the base for trips to other parts of Europe.

Melissa (mjkirkland) So far about 20 of our members have participated in the geography poll. Looks like a couple of folks from the southern hemisphere so far. I've always wondered what it would be like to look up into the Australian night sky.

Melissa (mjkirkland) Filza, did you vote on the poll? Check it out and select SE Asia!

I sailed the South Pacific for a couple years and lived in New Zealand for six months. Like the song says, when you see the Southern Cross for the first time, it's very cool.

Melissa (mjkirkland) Okay, I'm extremely envious, Steve. I can't even imagine that kind of life!

Only a small handful of the members of the group have used the location poll. If you haven't already, please take a moment to visit the poll and let us know where you live.

Steve Van Slyke (steve_van_slyke) | 400 comments Yup, I did the poll. I'm the Steve from above that splits time between Washington State and Mexico. However, I think I'm slowly becoming Mexican.

Aloha | 334 comments I live in Connecticut, USA, about 50 mins. train ride from NYC. Ilove being able to walk on the beach, then hop on the train to NYC. There are 5 libraries that I'm a member of within short driving distance since everything is compact within the northeast, and the towns cooperate with each other.

I lived in Exmouth, Western Australia; 850 miles north of Perth on the North West Cape for 3 years. We had Exmouth Gulf on one side of the peninsula and the Indian Ocean on the other. It,was mostly a Nature Reserve and was a great experience.

That sounds lovely, Aloha! I tend to brag about how many library cards are on me at any given time.

I'm in Dallas, TX. Lots of libraries here too, especially in the suburbs.
