Look at author's page on GR. Right below where it says "books by ____" but above the first book listed, there are some facts about the author in small print. Number of fans is there.

I also have a question about the book I'm reading now... I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore. Pittacus Lore is a pseudonym for two collaborating authors, James Frey and Jobie Hughes. Do I count this as L for Lore? Or do I choose either of Frey or Hughes for this book?

message 19: by Karis (new)

Karis Jacobstein (yalitwit) | 419 comments I would use Lore. You will find it under that name at the library or a book store. You would file a Sophie Kinsella book under Madeline Wickham or a Richard Bachman book under Stephen King...

I loved it. A very beautiful lyrical book. Very fast read too. Still trying to figure out how to use it with students though.

Amy, the HS Reading List isn't actually an award, it's a recommended list for libraries in Texas. So sadly, no extra 5 points. :(
