Happy New year! Welcome to 2011 and welcome to another year of 50 books. As you may have noticed activity has slowed in the group and I feel responsible for that. I do apologize for not being there for this group like I should have been this past year.

I will use this cliche for newness and attempt to breathe new life into this group. I will strive to resurrect the Friday question.

Thank you for sticking with the group and thank you for joining the group. I look forward to reading 50 books with all of you.

Okay, so you have a life outside Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ; we'll forgive you ;)

This group is great. I love the updates and seeing what everyone's reading. My one request would be to get people's 50 reading lists off the general folder and into the alphabetical folders where they below.

If I can think of any Friday questions, I'll let you know.

I'm new here, but really looking forward to the Challenge!

Just joined. I'm looking forward to the challenge, and also the solidarity with likeminded readers. Question...is there a way to link my own 50-books-to-read bookshelf with this group? Seems like it'd be easier, but I can't figure out a way to do it.

I think this group is wonderful. While I do wish there was more "conversation," I love seeing what other people are reading. I picked up at least 10 books from this list year last year, and they ended up being some of my favorite reads of the year.
