Roxanne Probably over-rated. But sort of fun for mindless reading. A different sort of character for sure.

Claudine Lafave I liked it too. I want to read others in the series

Gabe Poll I liked the book. It was the first Dean Koontz book I read. now I'm on Odd Hours.

Denise Read it as an airport/travel book. I liked it because it was fun, quick, and not cerebrally intensive.

Scott I have enjoyed all the Odd Thomas books including the graphic novels. Looking forward to Odd apocalypse.

Tommy Bones I really enjoy the Odd Thomas series so far. His sense of humor and view on situations gives the books a great fresh feeling. Looking forward to finishing the series, as I'm in the middle book three currently.

Cynthia Sherman I agree!!!!!

Gabe Poll Hey Scoot is that going to be a comic or a classic novel?

Allen Crowe Tried to read it and I do like Koontz, but when I got to Elvis sticking his fingers in his nose I couldn't go any farther. Maybe I'll try it again. Willing to give it another try.

Elvis is actually a significant figure in the book, his signals to Odd are predictions for us and he helps Odd cope through major losses.

I agree, his sense of humor tends to break up the suspense and helps you along the book.

Odd is a different character, this is one reason I like Dean Koontz. His imagination introduces you to different, yet enjoyable to read, topics.

Julie Round Really enjoyed the Odd Thomas books. I still look for Koontz books but the others aren't quite the same.
