Rayna I had to start by re-reading the VA series because i LOVE the Rose/Dimitri love story! So without further adieu

1-1-11 - (2 books with a hangover! beat that...lmao)
1-Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead
2-Frostbite - Richelle Mead

1-2-11
3-Shadow Kiss - Richelle Mead

1-3-11
4-Blood Promise- Richelle Mead

5-Spirit Bound - Richelle Mead
(well this one took me to wee hours in the morning so technically it should have 2 dates on it!

and to boot my eyes are sore and just now going to enjoy a hot bath and cuddle up to Last Sacrifice! On to #6 in 4 days!
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2) by Richelle Mead Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3) by Richelle Mead Blood Promise (Vampire Academy, #4) by Richelle Mead Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy, #5) by Richelle Mead

6- My Soul to Steal - rachel Vincent
7- Reaper
- Rachel Vincent
My Soul to Steal (Soul Screamers, #4) by Rachel Vincent Reaper by Rachel Vincent

I really loved the Shifter series by vincent its one of my fav's. Soul screamers is okay, i was dissapointed after reading the shifters series; however, in saying that....adult versus young adult would be the reason why. Decent read the series so far but what it was lacking from her other series i truly missed.....so you tweens out there will love it, us more seasoned (lol) readers its kindof fluff!
1-5-11
8- Last Sacrifice - Richelle Mead
Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6) by Richelle Mead

Eventhough this one is also Young Adult....it is one of my FAVORITE series out there and i love way more than twilight! Now for a YA series Mead doesnt dissapoint me! Mind you in all her books she hasnt dissapointed! A true must read whatever age you are!

13-Wolf's Valentine - Rebecca Royce

Well im up to date on this series now....they were okay reads, kept me entertained. Some of them shorter than the others and for that im thankfull. The westervelt wolves series i would rate a good filler book between series but its not one that i sit there and bite my nails in anticipation for the next to comeout! Wolf's Valentine A Westervelt Holiday by Rebecca Royce

message 14: by Rayna (new)

14-A Little Harmless Sex - Melissa Schroeder

Great story line, intrigue, sex, passion, love and honor! All my favorite things....the only thing it lacked was the absence of my fanged or furry friends....none the less i would reccomend it to everyone!
A Little Harmless Sex (Harmless, #1) by Melissa Schroeder

Rayna 1-15-11
16-Awakened - PC Cast & Kristen Cast

Well i cant really say a whole lot good abou the book. It is what i have expected.....a very long drown out series that keeps on getting worse. what gets me is there are still 8 more books! Not too sure i can keep reading them its getting too painfull!
Awakened (House of Night, #8) by P.C. Cast

message 19: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 1-16-11
17-Pleasure Unbound - Larissa Ione

Very good book, though i wish there was a bit more at the ending.....i havent read the teaser for book 2 yet but something tells me that E & Tay's story is over and on to the next love match! Thus i would have liked to see a bit more of their mating! All in all a great reas and looking forward to book 2!
Pleasure Unbound (Demonica, #1) by Larissa Ione

Rayna 1-19-11
18-Pleasure Unchained - Larissa Ione

Good book, continue story line from previous just with a different shift in characters. I loved Shades story as well Ione also followed up with her previous characters which made me happy to see. Once a couple has been written about further discussion in later books is unusual. At least i got to see how Tay and E went along with their relationship while being entranced with Shade's and Runa's story. Not to mention Ione also made a very good shift in leading up to Wraith's book which im excited to say im reading next!

This series is worth the read all!
Desire Unchained (Demonica, #2) by Larissa Ione

Rayna 1-20-11
19-City of Ashes - Cassandra Clare

These are rereads for me but no matter how many times i read the real good ones it feels like the first time all over again! Oh how i love the Clary/Jace cunundrum!

City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2) by Cassandra Clare

message 24: by Rayna (last edited Jan 22, 2011 08:04AM) (new)

Rayna i had the exact same feelings! I knew that they would be together in the end it would all work out! Ever since the seelie court i knew he wasnt her sister....so i didnt feel bad for wanting them to be together!

Rayna 1-22-11

20-City of Glass - Cassandra Clare

I am truly sad again to be done this series.....i am so hoping that book 4 released in about a month will hold up to my high standards i have set for this series and to keep me on the edge of my seat with Clary and Jace....i believe this one is from Simon's perspective so i dont know how that will fare.....only time will tell a guess!

City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #3) by Cassandra Clare

message 26: by Rayna (new)

Rayna heck i put the relaease date in my blackberry and im at the bookstore that day getting the next book of the series i read!!!

Rayna 1-27-11
24-Dead Until Dark - Charlene Harris

Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse, #1) by Charlaine Harris

Okay, im done the first Sookie book and to tell you im not that impressed! Im not a big fan of bill, but everyone keeps on saying they love Eric so much so im thinking a change happens....it wouldnt be a loss if bill went by the way side but i dont know enough about Eric to like him any more than i can stand bill. i have to say that from the beginning i kinda like Sam the non threatening supportive puppy shifter to be honest!
Im continuing on to read book 2 with great reluctance!!!

message 31: by Rayna (new)

Rayna i havent watched the show....i caught one episode and didnt like it so i passed, ill wait till they are out on video and rent it. mind you i hated the vampire diaries books and its one of my favorite tv shows to watch! Go figure!

message 32: by Rayna (new)

Rayna the show is 1000 times better than the book! It has strayed away from the book ALOT! thats why i probably like the show! lol

message 33: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 1-31-11

25-Living Dead in Dallas - Charlaine Harris

Living Dead in Dallas (Sookie Stackhouse, #2) by Charlaine Harris

Well im still NOT in love with this series and nothing has really ties me to any of these characters...no wait i like the puppy shifter Sam and maybe Eric a little bit just because he likes to play naughty....but i am not in love with Sookie or Bill our main characters! Will this change god i hope so or i may have to call it quits on this series right away!

message 34: by Rayna (new)

Rayna maybe......but once i start a series i usually have to finish it even when its bad. so i will probably give it one more book.....please tell me????? does she dump Bill at any time throughout the series???? please say its so! And maybe she goes for alcide???? i like him the best!

message 35: by Rayna (last edited Feb 01, 2011 01:53PM) (new)

Rayna 2-1-11

26- Club Dead - Charliane Harris

Club Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #3) by Charlaine Harris

well this one a bit better oly because Alcide came into the picture and i think Sookie should give him a shot, at lease he knows what a women likes, needs and wants other than that dolt Bill. Erics half way there!

message 36: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 2-1-11

27-Dead to the World -Charlaine Harris

Dead to the World (Sookie Stackhouse, #4) by Charlaine Harris

So far thisone wasnt that bad..... Bill was almost a non existant character and when he was there he wasnt the staring role in Sookies life.....maybe these books wont be so bad afterall.....on to the next!

message 37: by Rayna (new)

Rayna Shadow Kiss was one of my fav's. The next one Blood Promise was probably my least favorite of all the books but the rest are grrrreat!

message 38: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 2-3-11

28-Dead as a Doornail - Charlaine Harris

Dead as a Doornail (Sookie Stackhouse, #5) by Charlaine Harris

This one was Okay, kindof upset at Alcide since i really like him.....now he's just being a douche! But Quinn has rushed up to fill that amazingly awesome male prospect! We will see!

message 39: by Rayna (new)

Rayna yeah that was teh packleader book.....and it pee'd me off royally that he could be such an *ss!!!

but i love Quinn!

message 40: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 2-5-11

29-Definately Dead-Charlaine Harris

Definitely Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #6) by Charlaine Harris

This is one of the better books out of the series...not to shabby!

message 41: by Rayna (last edited Feb 09, 2011 05:37AM) (new)

Rayna 2-6-11
30-All Together Dead - Charlaine Harris

All Together Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #7) by Charlaine Harris

Not bad, i would of liked Eric to admit his feelings for Sookie a bit more and then there be a real love triangle....i honestly at this point dont know who she'd pick??? not a whole lot of romantic action to which i was a bit dissapointed!

message 42: by Rayna (last edited Feb 09, 2011 05:37AM) (new)

Rayna 2/7/11
31-From Dead to Worse-Charlaine Harris

From Dead to Worse (Sookie Stackhouse, #8) by Charlaine Harris

Well this one kindof dissapointed me quite a bit....Quinn was a dissapointment and Eric really hasnt stepped up after finding out about him and Sookie which i thought he would. So all in all not a favorite in the series

message 43: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 2/8-11

32-Dead and Gone- Charlaine Harris

Dead and Gone (Sookie Stackhouse, #9) by Charlaine Harris

Eventhough i thought her to be a bit hard on Quinn, i think deep down she didnt have enough feelings for the man. To be honest i only think the vamps can protect her from all the trouble she gets herself into. now saying that i wish Eric would step up like Bill had only Bill was way to late and if Eric is not going to do it soon he might miss the boat too! The Sookie train is impatient and stubborn!!!

message 44: by Rayna (new)

Rayna yeah but the man has way too much baggage and prejudices to others. He is very Pro were and i could never see that man even now that hes pack leader pick anyone else than a true were to carry on the blood line. Plus he doesnt accept Sookie truly

message 45: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 2-9-11

33-Dead in the Family -Charlaine Harris

Dead in the Family (Sookie Stackhouse, #10) by Charlaine Harris

Well im all caught up to date and have to wait until May for the next one. This books wasnt one of the good ones to leave off with. Eventhough Sookie and Eric profess their love it still leaves me unsatisified! The jusr is still out if i like this series or not i guess the next book out in May may help in that decision! But i did go out and rent the complete season one and two from the video so i may not read this much this weekend but watch instead! mwahahahaha!

message 46: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 2-15-11

34-When Blood Calls - J.K. Beck

When Blood Calls (The Shadow Keepers, #1) by J.K. Beck

Good read, a little lacking in H/H character development, absolutely good twist on PNR and full of murder, mystery, lust and betrayal. What a combination!

message 47: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 2-18-11

35-Twilight - Stephanie Meyer

message 49: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 2-24-11

37-Origins-Sean Hayden

Origins (Demonkin, #1) by Sean Hayden

A first novel for this author and very well done at that. A vampire novel that doesnt fit the norm for vamp novels....HAyden has thought outside the box on this one! Well done!

message 50: by Rayna (new)

Rayna 3-9-11
