Leslie (lesliegloe) 8. Decision Points by George W. Bush Decision Points by George W. Bush

I really liked the structure of this presidential autobiography. Rather than trying to discuss the entire presidency, the idea to take a handful of the biggest decisions/situations and dissect them was an excellent way to cover the Bush 43 era.

What a gem! A friend of mine said that if I liked Pillars of the Earth, I should read this book. Since the copyright was in 1980, I don't know how I would've ever run across it otherwise. Thank you to that friend. A great read, even if it was over 1000 pages!.

This book was too "St. Louis" for me, I guess. Having lived there & still being a frequent visitor, but not being originally from there, I guess all the St. Louis cliches got on my nerves enough that I didn't enjoy this cute, fluffy chic lit read.

20. Sweet Valley Confidential: Ten Years Later by Francine Pascal Sweet Valley Confidential Ten Years Later by Francine Pascal

After absolutely hating a Krakauer book (unusual), Sweet Valley was such a blast from the past.
