Please proceed to start discussions.

I did go to the party. It was fun. I should get the book read by end of year.

TheReadingKnitter/ Kasey (thereadingknitter) I'm about 400 pages into this book. It's my favorite so far of the series.

Krista (findyourshimmy) Love the book and how everything... Wait, don't want to spoil it for anyone.

Truthfully. Twlight and Eclipse were my two favorite books from this series.

message 4: by liz (new)

liz (lizevans) I did not like breaking dawn. it sickens me that EVERYONE basicly got a happy ending. Ugh!

message 5: by Kristie (new)

Kristie (spedkristie) I also disliked this book but loved Twilight and Eclipse.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

I haven't read it yet but it other avid readers have had the same comments that it wasn't as good.

TheReadingKnitter/ Kasey (thereadingknitter) I'm really out numbered...This was my favorite of the series...Bella didn't whine that much...

Kay (kaylovespurple) | 11 comments I loved Breaking Dawn precisely because everyone got a happy ending (but that's just me, a happy-endings lover :P )

April (escapegal) I loved BD as well...loved Twilight, New Moon was ok, and then I was really disappointed with Eclipse. I almost ended it there because I had so many issues with E...but in the end my OCD got the best of me and I read BD and it really tied everything together for me!

Jessica | 34 comments I love Breaking Dawn! It is my favorite book.

message 11: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I can't say Breaking Dawn was a favorite, but I was okay with all the happy endings. I get the feeling Meyer will always be happy ending writer, expecially after reading Host.
My favorite of the series is Twilight, and as much as I enjoyed the others, I think you could read just that one.

message 12: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I agree with Kandice, Twilight was my favorite and could easily stand alone.

I really liked the rest of the series too, though.

message 13: by Priscilla (new)

Priscilla VdL (dunnopris) hmmm...i like twilight the most

message 14: by Priscilla (new)

Priscilla VdL (dunnopris) from the series....

message 15: by Kathy (new)

Kathy (marianslibrary) | 51 comments I enjoyed all of them, especially Twilight. The only part in Breaking Dawn that I read quickly through was Jacob's. Like the ending!

message 16: by Athira (new)

Athira (Reading on a Rainy Day) (readingonarainyday) I wished there was something more to the battle in the end. It was such an anti-climax with nothing having happened! :(

Even if Meyer wanted a happy ending, she could have had a small battle in place, with the good side winning and then called a ceasefire. Anything else would have gone down well.

message 17: by Nadia (new)

Nadia A (bagambo) Out of the series this was the book I liked least. A vampire baby called Renesemee, seriously? And the battle that never happened? The book was shoddy in some places and the story was weak. UGH! Most definitely the worst book of the series.

message 18: by galya (new)

galya I didn't like it. I enjoyed the storyline, but it felt like she didn't evolve it. Not enough details. It was all cramped into what it was. So it was a big disappointment for me.

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) Worst of the series. Everything was just kind of thrown together at the end, and not in a very exciting way. I think it could have been done MUCH better than it was.
