I plan to read 104 books in the year starting October 1 2007 and ending September 30, 2008.

Of these a minimum of 12 will be from my existing library (unread shelf) as recorded in the Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ tbr challenge group.

Further, I will attempt to read at least two books from each of the major Library of Congress groups as recorded in Bricoleur's Eclectic Set

Wow you are ambitious. The last few months I averaged 18 books a month but this month I am only at 5 so far because it has been a busy month.

Starting out at a slower than needed rate... but it was book 5 that was the bulk of the "problem" what a wonderful tour-de-force... I will be adding a review shortly but suffice to say here that this is a book that deserves lots of contemplation, thinking, review and side journeys into other volumes to verify and contrast viewpoints. Not many books take me half a month to get through -- but not many books require such deep thought to internalize.

This month found me granted with the most time I've been able to devote to reading in 17 years... and the best was a book (#20); that had languished unread for at least a couple years since I bought it a used book store curiously related to the worst of the month (#4) -- the first a book of hope; the other of utter despair.

Both can related, in very broad, to some of the concepts of primativism, with Jensen's screed being driven by an underlying philosophy of anarcho-primitivism. I was so busy reading that I didn't get to doing reviews on either of these book... they are still to come.

Made #44 with 16 minutes to go in the year! 18 books read in December, but it is unlikely I will be able to keep this pace up in the new year -- what with work (both for profit and my volunteer efforts)resuming in January ... to say nothing of the effort I must turn towards my own book....
