Dee Marie (dee_marie) What is your favorite book that uses art or artists as an integral part of the plotline?

The first one that comes to mind is The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.

K.S.R. (kareyshane) Another one that comes to mind is the classic, Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce.

Another, is Girl With the Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier, which is a historical novel inspired by the Dutch artist, Vermeer.

Robin (robinsullivan) | 7 comments I'll vote for The Da Vinci Code That is probably my best along that lines. It seems to me there was also a good biography of Vincent Van Gogh.
