NYRB has only Monte Verita.

Declan | 89 comments Hi Cindy, The NYRB edition just has the title Monte Verita, a single story of 79 pages.

Cindy (newtomato) | 31 comments Wait! You all got me interested, so I compared my copy in The Apple Tree to that in the NYRB edition. It looks like in the NYRB they have combined both Monte Verita and Victor into one novella just called Monte Verita. So it is the same thing in the end. :)

Jenny, say away! I'm finished with the book and I'm sure that others have read, at least, the first few stories so perhaps we can discuss Don't Look Now, The Birds, Escort and any others...
