1. Tenth Month: Read the book that is Tenth on your to-read list, or a number on your to-read list that consists of all ones & zeros(i.e. 1, 10, 11, 100, 111, etc.).

2. Domestic Violence Awareness Month: Read a book with a character that has been or is being abused (any kind of abuse). Or read a book where someone gets themselves out of a bad situation.

3. October themed read: Read a book on your to-read list by an author whose first or last name ends with O-C-T-B-E-R. If there isn't one, read a book whose title starts with one of those letters.

4. Dictionary Day: Read a book with an unusual book on the cover.

5. Halloween themed read: Read a horror, fantasy, paranormal or something else that is related to Halloween in some way.

6. Come and Take It day: yeah, so interrupt this one anyway you like.

7. Babbling Day: Read the longest book on your to-read list.

8. Your pick.

BONUS: In honor of Mischief Night, read a book with a a shady character.
