Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I generally try to go as close to the release date as possible. I recently got an email that pretty much told me to post it way beforehand from a publisher which kinda throws off my whole schedule (I only request books that I honestly feel like I can review near the release date & keep a calendar to that effect).

Close to the release date always seems safest unless otherwise informed. Is it already released where you are?

Natalie (neon_bookworm) | 36 comments Yes it has already been released in e-book form and in the UK as a paperback. There are reviews already here on goodreads. It seems it was picked up and is now being published in the US in hardback form in November. So that makes it more confusing, since it's kind of already released.

Eh, I guess I'll just stick to a month and call it good since there is no guidelines.

Hannah (shgmclicious) Since the publishers that are on the publisher preferences page generally say no earlier than a month before release, that's generally what I aim for, unless I'm getting the book so close to the release date or after it's out, in which case I blog it when I have the time/inspiration to do so.

By the way, Lois Duncan's books are getting rereleased (and dubiously updated), and The Twisted Window by Lois Duncan is up there now.
