Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) In addition to Amy's challenges (thanks, Amy!), Meghan picked out some challenges for us as well!

1. Read books where the authors' initials can be found in T.H.A.N.K.S.G.I.V.I.N.G. The letters don't have to be adjacent to one another.
2. Read books that were published in 2010-2011.

Like last month, each book you read will count one point.

Happy Reading!

message 9: by Melissa (new)

Melissa T (melissasmidnightmusings) I'll try these Challenges too. Again, I'll post as I finish.

★M±ð²µ³ó²¹²Ô★ (starinheaven) | 1455 comments It has to be both.

message 13: by Melissa (new)

Melissa T (melissasmidnightmusings) What if the author has the same initial for their first and last name? I'm reading Wicked by Sara Shepard right now. Would that count?

★M±ð²µ³ó²¹²Ô★ (starinheaven) | 1455 comments Both letters would have to show up in Thanksgiving. So like G.G. would work or I.I. I think this makes it a little more challenging.

message 15: by Melissa (new)

Melissa T (melissasmidnightmusings) Thanks. :) Having both letters is better anyway, I like the further challenge. I'll just put Wicked in the YA challenge anyhow.

message 16: by Shay (last edited Nov 12, 2011 07:29PM) (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) Great reading, Shay!!!

message 21: by Shay (new)

Shay | 862 comments I'm trying to make a dent in my 2011 books. So many books published this year that I really want to read. Plus, I feel overwhelmed by my TBR pile/list. It's getting bigger. I almost wish people would stop recommending and mentioning interesting books.

★M±ð²µ³ó²¹²Ô★ (starinheaven) | 1455 comments Haha Shay! I thought you would never have a TBR pile. Probably will never be as large as mine is though. Just because you are basically amazing at reading so many books.

message 23: by Shay (new)

Shay | 862 comments I have a huge TBR- on my GR TBR shelf I have almost 1200 books and that's not even my whole list.

message 24: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) Wow. That's a lot of books. My GRs tbr shelf has over 2500 books. Sometimes I think I'm never going to be able to finish them all. lol

★M±ð²µ³ó²¹²Ô★ (starinheaven) | 1455 comments My GR TBR is over 1200 and I haven't even listed them all...ooohhhh!!!! Sad....so many books and so little time!

message 26: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) Exactly!!! LOL; I doubt that's all of the books I want to read. There's always that "one more."

I feel the same way, I just keep adding more and more books to read, but not making a dent in the list, haha.
