Kendall Harris I chose this book because I thought it would be interesting to read an adventure book.I also chose this book because I read part of the book in my school library and I was amazed by the details that Christopher Paolini (author) used. For example in the book it talks about the way that the stone that Eragon fount (main character)was squeaking instead of saying the stone squeaked he said "The metal did not chip or scratch the stone, but it produced the clearest sound yet. As the final note died,he thought he heard a faint squeak." I also loved the prologue talks about a group in the book called The Riders was attacked by this character named Shade and I wasn't clear whether Shade was a girl or boy,but I was still fascinated by the book. That is why I chose this book.

It's a good book. I don't think the sequels are as good, though, but the story is still fun to follow. The last book was just released.

Ziyue I love it!!

Kira4Inu Kira4Inu One of my most favorite series! I must agree, I love Paolini's descriptions and I've been waiting for years (around seven) for him to finish the series. Now I'm almost finished with the last one.

Cherie I just bought the last book and cannot wait to start, but I have others to finish 1st. Two of my daughters and one granddaughter have read them all. We have not like the movies much, but love the books!
