"This day just gets weirder and weirder," Amathyst said quietly.

"And you were six, Storm. No need to be embarrassed, its fine." Amathyst kissed him on the cheek.

"Oh yea we are here." storm said looking up at the castle. "So you probably want to come with me while I face my parents..... My mom is really nice.... But my dad... You'll see." he said.

Amathyst took a deep breath. "Okay," she said calmly, even though she was shaking.

"Don't worry I'm here." he said putting his hands around her waist. "You'll be fine they'll like you."

She felt his hands around her waist and relaxed a little. "I hope so..."

"Trust me..." he said kissing the side of her face.

She closed her eyes. "I trust you," she said softly.

He led her inside and showed her swiftly to the throne room holding her the whole way there. Storm slipped inside the doors to be greeted by shouts from his father. In the middle of a lecture he stopped him. "Father calm down. I need to introduce you to someone very special. This is amethyst. She is my new fiancé." he said.

"Hello, your majesty," she said and curtsied, hoping she was doing everything right.

the old demon sat back in his chair anylyzing the girl. He stroked his beard thinking. "hello my dear." he said. On the other hand Storms mother got out of he chair and hugged amethyst. "oh Storm honey she's adorable! And so elegant! You made a great choice!.. I told your father you wouldnt miss the royal court for just no reason-" she started. "That's enough Rose." the king said. "oh hush your always so down about your sons choices." she scolded him. "nice to meet you amethyst." She said. "ill make sure to have things set up for you in the castle! Oh it's just so exciting!" the queen wondered off going on about it.

Amathyst looked at Storm. Her eyes said, 'I don't know what to do.'

"father, what do yuo think about her?@ storm asked. " She's fine." was all he said.

Amathyst stood in silence, her head bowed respectfully.

"Now. Storm get over here." "sure..." storm said walking to his dad. "you better treat her right, don't mess her up like you are." the king said grabbing storms collar.

Amathyst bit her lip to keep herself from saying anything. She closed her eyes, silently pleading for the King to let go of Storm. She tasted blood from her lip in her mouth.

"Yes father." he said as his gather released him. Storm walked over to amethyst. "Lets go." he told her glaring backwards at the king before he kept walking pulling Amethyst along.

Amathyst walked next to him. After they were out of the room she finally opened her mouth, her lip was still bleeding. "I'm sorry, but I don't like him too much," she said quietly.

" actuly that went very well. He didn't hurt you so it means he likes you.... Kinda...." he said. "why is your lip bleeding?" he asked noticing it.

Amathyst's hand went to her mouth, covering the bloody part. "I... I was afraid that I would say something wrong at first and then when he grabbed you, I bit down harder because then I was scared he was going to hurt you..." she said.

"He can't kill me. I'm his only heir. Plus I know deep down he cares. He just doesn't show it." storm said holding onto her again. Storm liked holding her, outing his arms around her. This mention Amethyst was his and no one else's.

"He can still hurt you..." she said, looking up at him. "I don't like the thought of that."

"I can take care of myself alot more than you think. There's a reason why no one questions my princeship." he said. "don't fret about it."

"Okay..." She put her head against his chest. She enjoyed being close to him, and the feel of his arms around her. He made her feel safe.

"Now it is getting late. We need some rest. Would you like to sleep in your own room or in mine?" he asked.

"Wherever you want me to sleep," Amathyst replied.

"then come with me I'll show you your room." he said leading her. ((I gtg see ya))

She walked with him. "This place is huge. I'm going to get lost so easily..."

"Just ask around. People will help you. Oh and my room is right next to yours so if you need anything I'm right next door." he said showing her her room. " gets some sleep. We have work to do tomorrow." he said giving her a long kiss.

Amathyst kissed him back. She never wanted him to let her go.

"I'll see you tomorrow morning." he said pulling away and going to his room. Inside he got ready for bed and fell asleep.

Amathyst looked around for awhile before climbing in her bed. She didn't fall asleep quickly, she layed awake for sometime and then drifted off.

Storm woke up and got ready for the day. When he walked to Amethysts room he knocked on the door.

"Come in," she called. She was standing in front of a mirror, brushing her hair.

"hello." he said moving behind her and putting his arms around her. Storm gave her a kiss.

"Good morning, Storm," she said, smiling.

" I don't want to do my work. I want to stay with you here." storm said.

"I don't want to keep you from your work..." Amathyst said, looking at him in the mirror.

"I want you to." he said moving his hands around her stomach.

She blushed and hid her face behind her hair. No one had ever liked her like that before.

"and please. Do not make me go do my awful paper work." he said.

"I won't," she said, her face still hidden.

Storm kissed her again. He smiled.

Amathyst blushed again. This was all so new to her.

Just then onyx barged in. "Don't you think you can get away from your work storm!" he said jumping up and pulling storm out the door by the ear. "hey stop that!" he complained. "oh and amethyst," he smiled. " an important person will be coming to your room soon so get ready, " he said pulling storm out the door.

Anathyst looked at them. "Uh, im-important?" she asked. "Okay... how am I supposed to get ready for that?"
