I think the Poet is his favorite Connelly book. I've read bits and pieces and I"m very impressed. Connelly is a great writer.

So far I've read The Scarecrow (Jack McEvoy, #2) by Michael Connelly and The Last Coyote These books contain outstanding writing.

Will do!

April | 44 comments I was a prejudiced reader and thought Michael Connelly would be nothing more than a 1 star author. Then I read "The Lincoln Lawyer" and I discovered exactly how biassed I was! "The Poet" has been on my TBR list for awhile now. I will make sure that "The Poet" is my next Connelly book.

Janice (jamasc) | 801 comments I have The Lincoln Lawyer waiting to be read. My dad passed his copy on to me. One of these days...

Snoozie Suzie (snooziesuzie) | 19 comments Oooh, I haven't read any of his books for AGES (Janice passed over 'nine dragons' on Fruitcake, and I could have read it for a blue), so I too must get him in soon. (Whenever soon may be)

We are taking nominations for the March-April group read. A Michael Connelly could be one of them! There's a thread set up for nominations. Just add your choice there.

Bill The Lincoln Lawyer is a great choice! It's got my vote!

Bill Deb, hope your feeling well. Everyone here in South Florida is ill with a mysterious virus. Good time to read, as we're spending a lot of time in the potty. LOL

I've started my 2nd week of radiation treatments. I'm doing 3 weeks. Then I'll be getting more blood work in March and seeing my Oncologist. So far, it looks like I can say I'm a Cancer SURVIVOR!

I'm doing well with few side effects. Just so tired I have a hard time reading much. It took me 5 days to read a book I would normally get done in 2. Oh well, at least I'm doing well, otherwise.

I will add Lincoln Lawyer to the list of group read nominations! We will have a poll soon.

Bill Deb, glad your doing well! Thank you for all your efforts with this group. Your comments save me from reading a bad book and guide me to a great read.
