Faye (lastchapter) | 409 comments Hi Everyone, another one I read recently was "Almost Perfect - the Crawford Family Murders - by Greg Fogarty, it was very interesting but gruesome and awful - I found it interesting because I am from Melbourne and knew parts of the area. But please be warned it is gruesome. Faye

Faye (lastchapter) | 409 comments Has anyone read any Garry Disher novels, he is an Aussie author, lives in the same area in Victoria as myself. He writes teenage fiction and murder crime fiction. I always enjoy his descriptions as he sometimes mentions a town or beach near home. I just finished one of his teenage books.

No I haven't Faye, are the crime ones good, do you know? Garry Disher

message 108: by Faye (new)

Faye (lastchapter) | 409 comments Hi Brenda, I have read two of the crime stories from Garry Disher,I really enjoyed them. Partly because of the area, even though some of the places names were just not the correct name such as beach names, from the description I could tell where he was describing. I have emailed him regarding his writing and he personally emailed me back, he was very pleasant.Faye

Can you remember the titles you enjoyed? It's great when you know the area they're talking about in their books:) That's lovely that he replied to you as well...

That sounds like my type of book Faye :) Personally I do prefer books that are easy to read with a good plot - I'm not one for poetic writing

I always have patience Faye:) At the top of your comment box you will see 'add book/author'. Click on that, then put your book title into the section and hit search. When the correct one is on your screen, click 'add', and you will then have your book title linked into your comment box! Any more questions, please feel free to ask:)
