Cat Hellisen (clhellisen) Actually, this is just where I can publicly shame myself into reading more books. Or, actually, finishing more books. I start plenty....

To keep it manageable, I will read 52 books.

I will review 12.

YOU CAN DO IT, CAT.

Cat Hellisen (clhellisen) March is really biting me, I keep starting books and then just not getting into them.

Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves (a favourite of the year so far) Bleeding Violet by Dia Reeves How to Be a (Bad) Birdwatcher by Simon Barnes

message 7: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Smith A bit late, but what did you think of The End of Alice and Geek Love?

message 8: by Cat (new)

Cat Hellisen (clhellisen) End of Alice was uh...f*cked up but clever. Geek Love was amazing but had a weak ending.

Can't imagine I will ever read EoA again though....

message 9: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Smith Figured Alice would be messed up. I've got it on my tbr pile. I was blown away by Geek Love, although yes, now that you mention it, it could have had a better ending.

Cat Hellisen (clhellisen) Yeah Geek Love was pretty much everything I love in a novel, but the ending felt rushed and pat in comparison with the rest of the book.

Still, no single book has ever been perfect. :D
