Henry constantly has to sneak around to spend time with his new 'friend' Keiko. If your father despised a certain nationality, would you still sneak around to spend time with a person of that hated nationality, or would you let your father's beliefs rule your decisions?

It would make me want to spend more time with that specific person or people of that nationality.

no WAY would i ever let my dad's beliefs effect my own. i wouldn't REALLY call myself a rebel, but if my parents weren't so... open, i would be one. i'm very passionate about what I believe in, and i wouldn't ever let my parents change what i thought about things like that.

I think it is a person's natural tendency to accept all kind of people. Racism/discrimination is a learned behavior.
