Glenda (glenda-r) I set my goal at 50 books for 2011 and I was 2 books short of reaching my goal. Bummer, I know. This year I vow to do better. Good luck on your challenge and wish me luck on mine.

Stephen King
Finished 01/11/12
Rate: 5/5

2) The Strangler

3) We Need To Talk About Kevin

I would have finished with this book much quicker had I not been so busy with "real life". However, the book was constantly on my mind and all I can say is read my review.

I am about 2/3 of the way through it and I'll have to say it is a bit of a disappointment after reading his first book. "Mission Flats" was one of my favorite reads of 2011 and I expected to be really impressed with "The Strangler" but so far, I am unable to really feel anything about the characters. I'll push on and review it when finished. I do recommend "Mission Flats".

I don't think you'll be disappointed. Let me know how you like it if you read it.

Sara, I have finished The Strangler by William Landay by William Landay. It did pick up nicely. See my review. Worth reading. Thanks for your interest.

Glenda (glenda-r) I just finished We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver by Lionel Shriver. I took quite a while to read this book. The subject of nature vs. nurture is very interesting to me and I wanted to think about what this books was saying. I won't go into it here in case anyone has got it to read, but I ended up enjoying it a great deal. It is very thought provoking.

Glenda (glenda-r) I just started reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs by Ransom Riggs. The book is good so far but since I've just started it I don't have too much to say about it. Stay tuned.

Sara, I am slightly behind with my challenge, but will now get into high gear. Being an accountant, the first of the year is always insanely busy for me. Just finished
Defending Jacob A Novel by William Landay by William Landay. Best book I've read in recent memory and this includes 11/22/63 by Stephen King.
