Serenity, sorry I missed your comment in Thread 1...
I'm reading the Omnibus edition, Young Miles, which contains both these books. They were originally published separately, though, and about 400 pages each. Can I tag the omnibus edition but still count them as two separate books?
Not good news, however, I would have to say no, Serenity, sorry! I've seen this question popped up in other challenges and I think I'd keep this uniform :)

Thanks, D.G. , I've amended it!!

Or...bet this is it...I joined at post #23. Maybe that explains it.

I think I mentioned somewhere in the Official Rules that I will note your latest post to be your current position on the ladder to save later confusion. Just post your review and I will know that you've finished the book. In any case, we're on an honesty system that I'd believe you'd follow the rules regardless ;) So I'd assume that if you'd started reading the second book, you'd have finished the first :)

Thanks for the clarification. I've reserved the non-omnibus versions at the library instead, so I'll be reading the two books separately (literally).

I wasn't happy to roll a 1, but it did give me a perfect excuse to get to that Alexander McCall Smith short story book I wanted to read but probably never would have gotten around to otherwise. I've never read any of his books for children, so I'm interested to see how it is.

Ouch, I feel you're pain Kazza!
Those of you on (or afraid of) the poetry shelf might want to consider Neil Gaiman's Fragile Things if you like his other work. It has some poems, but mostly short stories. And 49 people besides me have it shelved as poetry.

Dee wrote: "when it doubt go shakespeare for poetry...lol!"
Ooh, yes, Shakespeare... hhhhmmm...
Or maybe, it's just really time for me to tackle the Odyssey.... I will take time this weekend to decide, he he he. And btw, I'll be disappearing for a couple of days, be @ the BEACH!! *hoping for fine weather*
See you guys after the weekend!

Oh, groan. Some of us are in the other hemisphere. No beach time here. :( Have fun, and enjoy it for the rest of us!
