Choose people who have inspired or influenced you in a positive way over the years.

I have so many that I could fill a book with them. There have been so many aspirational moments in life, and some from sources you would not expect.

If I were to name only one, for me, then it would be nature and the animal kingdom (ok, that's two).

What sort of people, works of creativity, writing, and so on have made you who you are? How did they influence you?

Coming back up to recent (?) years, iu have to say that you have really inspired me and gave me more food for thought. I have to say that it's an on-going thing and you 'start' when you are ready. For me, I origionally started when I read my brother's books of Lobsang Rampa. I know this is a long time ago but this is when I just couldn't get enough of reading these books. I then bought my own and to this day, still have the 14 books of Lobsang. Naturally, I have progressed since those early days (early 1970a) but I feel it depends on where you are in your life? I feel that I'm way behind someone else BUT this is me and how I want to progress ... at my own pace and time xxx

Maureen, Lovely to hear from you. Allow your drum to beat at the pace you want to go. We are each unique in that we are all different to one another, yet, somehow, the strands of what makes us all up is one and the same.

Ellen Degeneres inpires me. I think she is a funny woman, looks at the world positively and helps other people. I have enjoyed her tv sitcoms, talk show and books. I think Humor in life is important. Another person who I admired growing up was Lucille Ball, sadly I think she lost a lot of her magic in her later years. I think that Ellen really looked to Lucy as an inspiration and I believe she is creating a wonderful life and impacting the lives of many people. Still, think of the impact of I Love Lucy on our history - I think they even broadcast Lucy into outer space as a representative of the human race. Interesting.

Dustin ... Wow! Yes, Lucille Ball ... "I Love Lucy" was inspiring, I really used to look forward to it. I am sure it would still stand the test of time, too.
