The B2M Club has chosen non-fiction for May 2012 Monthly Read - it may refer to autobiographies, biographies, history books, scientific papers, travel memoirs, in short to any piece of work that is at least a bit factual and/or based on true events and people.

In the Genre Selection thread there was one great post with a link beside the general examples, so you may check it too, maybe you'll find something interesting to suggest here.

Looks great for reading, I personally like such topics - but the suggestions are supposed to be books adapted into movies or series? Although I might pick for watching with the book ;-)

I would add one book more - it's allowed, I am still a moderator after all ;)

Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer

I saw a few years ago, and it intrigued me very much. The book is on my bookshelf since then but I haven't found the time to read it... Yet :)
