Pradeep, The October Horse is the sixth in the Masters of Rome series, and Caesar's Women is only the fourth. Usually some time goes by between the end of the discussion of one book before the next book is started. I hope you'll join us when we do start The October Horse, but we'd love to hear from you here as well.

Pradeep Jayatunga (pravan) | 52 comments Thanks Viki. I asked about The October Horse because it somehow doesn't give the impression of being as well crafted as the earlier books of the series.I haven't read the last, Antony and Cleopatra but i think The Grass Crown and The First Man in Rome are the best. The Grass Crown (Masters of Rome, #2) by Colleen McCullough The First Man in Rome (Masters of Rome, #1) by Colleen McCullough

Pradeep, I can see that you are trying to add the correct citation and I applaud you for trying. However, you have to cite all of the books that you have mentioned aside from the discussion book (Caesar's Women) and you must add the book covers, the author's photo and the author's link as Vicki did in message 4.

Your post would therefore look like this:

The October Horse (Masters of Rome, #6) by Colleen McCullough The Grass Crown (Masters of Rome, #2) by Colleen McCullough The First Man in Rome (Masters of Rome, #1) by Colleen McCullough

all by Colleen McCullough Colleen McCullough

A suggestion that I have is that you work on the Mechanics of the Board thread to get these right. There are detailed directions there.
This thread is in the Help Desk Folder. We really are not evaluating upcoming books here in the series but trying to enjoy the one we are starting. The series is an excellent one and there is something for everyone.

Remember the citations are required so keep practicing and maybe try to edit message 6.
