I’m 100 pages through. The writing seems amateurish. It feels like the author is trying to hard to convince me on how gorgeous and irresistible Grey is but I’m not getting it.
I felt like that too, I kind of mentioned it in my review. The first 170-ish pages quite annoyed me.

I decided I'd post once a week or so.
A few minutes ago, I finished reading The Guy Liddell Diaries: 1939-1942, MI5's Director of Counter-Espionage in World War II. Yipee! :) (Will now take a pause before reading Volume 2.)

Currently reading We Of The Universe which I am not really enjoying... I feel like I don't know what is going on and I already really dislike the main male character... not a good start to book #2 for May!

I'm now 124 PAGES SHORT of finishing reading Chips: The Diaries of Sir Henry Channon. YAAY!!! ("Chips" Channon, by the way, was an expatriate American/naturalized British subject who served as an MP from the 1930s to the 1950s.)

Hi Brenda,After I'm done reading the (abridged) Channon diary, I am set on finishing Articles of War, The Spectator Book of World War II, which I intend to donate to a neighborhood library. :)

Yes, I believe so much in giving books in robust condition (that I've already read) a place in any public library that'll have them should I decide not to add them to my personal library. :)
