Next month we are going to read some epic or historical fiction - wow, those categories may include really a wide range of books and movies, because, in my opinion, everything's historical if is about the period before this one (ok, not everything, but you got the point). For an example, The Reader may be sorted as a historical book, as well as Zodiac, although they are better defined as war or thriller and nonfiction book in the latter case. Both are cool, I hope we will tackle them too :) If you wish, you may suggest them both here :D
I am afraid we do not have much time for nominations, please do make suggestions as soon as you can - on Saturday I would like to open the poll.

Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray
To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
King Solomon's Mines by H. Rider Haggard King Solomon's Mines by H. Rider Haggard
Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier
The Four Feathers by A.E.W. Mason The Four Feathers by A.E.W. Mason
Master And Commander by Patrick O'Brian Master And Commander by Patrick O'Brian.

As you can see, many awesome books may be found in the historical fiction section! Please add in your suggestions!

Great suggestions so far - some of them I've even read but would love to read again :)
