I'm currently reading Flesh & the Devil, a definite gothic novel, but would anyone want to take a week or so and dedicate it to nothing but short gothic novels? Dorothy Daniels, for instance? I'm free for it after Flesh & the Devil, if I'm not so entirely enthralled I pick up her other!

I've got plenty of gothics in my stack. I use them & harlequins as palate cleansers if the need arises. :D But I'm sure I'll get to some of them this summer. Eeek, my reading schedule is totally booked through June.

I left little comments/tempting tidbits of encouragement on Flesh & the Devil 'to-read' statuses on the review page, incase anyone wanted to read it with me. I wanted to see nothing but Flesh & the Devil update statuses for a week or two straight! I know some people are having trouble finding it in paperback, or it's too expensive for S&H, so I'm letting it drift for a few days, to see if anyone can find one or spark more interest.

Not many were enthusiastic about Sweet, Savage Eden, nor was I, for that matter--so I guess I championed against the weekly read there, and rebelliously rallied possible alternative reads. LOL I cut my own throat.

Stop talking it down. :P I do intent to get to SSE in the next couple days. It's taking me longer to finish my current read than I thought it would. Short of free time lately. :(

Lol, hey before I even made a review, no one gave a word of commentary or remarked on it at all, so I don't feel as guilty. :X I'm sorry! I'll put on my neutral face.

I was gone nearly all weekend, so that cut two days time out of my reading. I know when I miss a book, it's definitely worthy to continue reading.
