Our esteemed Hosts, welcome to your discussion board! :)

Anybody wishing to hold the respected position, inform us here along with what book/list of books you have in mind. Now don't wait for somebody to go first, everybody wishing to nominate him/herself should go ahead now.

As Host, you are expected to run discussions over your chosen book, that is you are the one who's gonna create the discussion in the first place (from the small "new" beside "Discussion Board"), there you can say whatever you want; why you like the book, why you chose it... You should also devise how we'll read it, for instance if the book is split into volumes, we can run different discussions over different volumes and you should tell us how we'll arrange it over the month (for instance one volume a week or so).
Apart from the main discussion topic over the book, we can also have various sections where all members can speak up in other ways about the book (for instance favourite quotes, favourite character or favourite scene/chapter), the moderators can create this discussion topic, but again our Host is expected to be the main contributor, it's his/her book after all.

As of now, I step down and leave it in your hands, or as the japanese say it "Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu"...

PS: I really hope that I don't wait a few weeks with this discussion held like this, its humour now faded, its idea unread, that i feel so lonely i may start begging anybody to participate...I'm sure you (whoever reads this) have no idea what I'm talking about, but it's been getting really lonely here all ba ma self! Already nobody gets my humour i'll shut up now!

Ok so i might as well break the ice here, because it's either we're all really shy or we don't care, so i'll give it a chance and nominate a book i was planning on reading right after i finish the one in hand, so i might as well mention it to the book club, hopefullly you'll all start nominating books as well and we'd see which to read.
I'm not even sure if it's eligible to use in a book club.

Okay if we're nominating, I'd be in for Eragon, i've read the second book but not Eragon itself.

I'm innnnnnnnn for Eragon it's already on my list. It's the first of the Inheritance series, right?
