Lisa Kessler (lisakessler) Ha! It's the opposite for me... I don't usually get any sales overnight... Just during the day! :)

Yes! I often wake to find that I've made a good many sales and I suspect I know why.

I read myself to sleep at night, so maybe others are the same. If I'm close to the end of a book, I'll read until I've finished, even if that means staying up an hour or more past when I should be asleep. If I don't have another book lined up for the following night (or if I find that I don't care for the one I'd selected), I'll go looking for another.

J.W. Stephens (jwstephens-author) | 1 comments I tend to buy books at night more often than not. Seems like it's quieter in the house, fewer distractions means I can focus on the book shopping.

Grant Morris (grantmorris) | 195 comments George, it's the same for me. I sell most of my books overnight. It's sort of a curse though, because now I lay in bed wondering how many I've sold.

Smilla's Sister (smillassister) | 1 comments Heh, and I thought it was just me, but mind you, I'm in Europe so it's pretty normal, it's up to 12 hours' difference.

Having said that, I normally buy my books late at night :))

Paul Vincent (astronomicon) | 33 comments I find most of my Amazon UK sales come in during the afternoon, and Amazon US sales seem to come in during the early hours. However I do wonder just how realtime Amazon's sales stats are.
