Sad, funny, intriguing, depressing and compelling. This book contains secrets from anonymous readers around the world which may hit home with the reader who can sympathise and empathise with the secrets.

so you thought the people you lived with truely sucked, that is until you read this wee book. It amuses and amazes some of the notes that are left and makes me feel so much better about living alone!!

The Secret Shopper's Revenge
My review
rating: 5 of 5 stars
Having worked in a supermarket and been subjected to mystery shoppers before I thought why not read this book and see what it would be like to be a mystery shopper.
The story features around three woman. Emily a new mother who joins the secret shoppers to allow her to stay in London instead of returning to the country to be the country bumpkin she ran away from. There is also Sandie. Someone who was sakced from her dream job and who had to get a job to survive, and Grazia the woman who recruits Emily and Sandie. She is living in London a widow of a famous artist who has left her with thousands of pounds of debts.
The books takes us through the friendship that is built between the there woman as they take on their jobs and help survive their lives.
London is sometimes not the glittering world that is is set out to be, but with friends surviving this city can sometimes be made that little bit easier, especially when revenge is sweet

Having thought about reading this book for many years I thouhgt it was about time i did it. I was somewhat let down by what I ended up reading. The narration of the story made me confused, as if teh story was written from the mind of a 10 year old and not the 19 year old that it wasset on.

Life at university was never fun, and it covered a topic that was both something relavant when the book was written and in the modern days: Suicide. A serious tipoc which the author knew only too much about, yet managed to wriet about it in a more childish way. I wouldnt say i didnt like it, rather, would say that i was dissapoined at the level it was written.

Yet again Jodi Picoult manages to take a subject that is controversial and turn it into a suspensive page turner. Although I could have guessed what happened at the end just by reading the first few pages it did not stop me from enjoying the book regardless.
Still I sit and think. What would I do if my sisters and dads killer offered to donate his heart to me to save me.
The book covers the story from the point of view of the heart donater, the wife and mother of the killed child and man, from a religious view point, a moral view point and political view.
Another well written and researched book.

Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1) Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
My review
rating: 2 of 5 stars
So this that was it? all the hype and quite honestly I can not understand why... One main and pretty much only theme was that she liked him, he liked her but thought he was too dangerous and tried to send her away. She doesnt get put off, he admits to liking her too but still warns her away. She doesnt give up, they fall in love (and still he thinks its best she goes).
I wonder if this is all that happens for the next few books??? hmmm

A place called here was a odd book. It is based around the story of Sandy Shortt who hates to lose anything. When she left school she decided to start up her own missing persons agency. One day however she loses herself and ends up in a world where all lost things go, from people to clothes. She meets many of the people she had investigated and never found.
The book is on whole good, however the ending was a bit abrupt and could have been explained a bit more.
