I just read book two and loved it. Unfortunately, the rest of the series is not available for kindle in the U.S. I am bummed.

Alex has promised on his blog that all will be released soon on both ebook and paperback to synch with UK release dates. Fingers crossed.

So you judge a book by its title ;) Your perception is good, imho the books do indeed live up to that imagery of yours, it does evoke that sense of adventure through time but its also much more than that :)

+1 for samples. Thats an area, Kindle does really well, as you can read one or more chapters before deciding to buy the book. A feature I have made a lot of use of.

Just finished the penultimate instalment of this awesome TT series. A non spoiler review of it here. The final instalment (book 9) will be published in June 2014.

Although Timeriders was one of our previous Book of the Month reads, I thought it best to open a thread for this series in here. The author, Alex Scarrow is a group member, although I am not sure if he remembers this place lol.
But I am a fan, and thoroughly recommend this brilliant work of science fiction.
The 6th book is being released on the 2nd August in UK but I had purchased the collectors edition which arrived 3 weeks early. I finished it in just 3 days. Now I am normally quite a slow reader so I am quite perplexed at the speed at which I finished this 417 page book in...well perhaps skiving off my bread and butter job might have something to do with it...
If all books engage me as much as this series does, I would be quite the prolific reader.
Anyway. I have written up a review of it if anyone interested.

Alex Scarrow has recently promised on his blog that very soon all books will be released in catchup to the UK release dates as he is working on rectifying an issue with US publications. The rate at which his books have so far been published has been at an incredibly high frequency, at least 2 books a year so at this rate, I anticipate the final 3 books to be released by end of 2013 or beginning of 2014. The next one is already scheduled for February 2013
