Braiding Sweetgrass might be my all time favorite non-fiction book, and a large part of my enjoyment of it was due to the mesmerizing, soothing, beautiful voice of the author in the audiobook edition. It's a voice capable of shifting one's mood to tranquil after listening for a few minutes. However, the message left me bleeding for our planet, our country, and our shameful past treatment of its indigenous people.
