The boom is written by Rob Gifford who is a traveller journalist. It’s a good read and give a vague but nice picture of the real china on his journey from east to west of china. The writer has kept a neutral view of the country and has tried to share his thoughts without a lens.

Its an ok read with a few interesting ideas. one of the most useful idea that i found was the 2 criteria's of ROCE and revenue growth to select a few stocks and also that small cap are also fairly good stocks, if selected properly.
I would still suggest to consult a good and reliable advisor before investing your money.
