Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros

Gabrielle’s first review of the year

it was ok
I hate the miscommunication trope but not as much as I hate seeing two strong independent women fighting over a man who wears skinny jeans. This one was def more world building and war related which - I’m never into when I read fantasy but it just felt so.. all over the place. I was too frustrated with half the characters to enjoy this honestly.
