Lovelight Farms by B.K. Borison

Utkarsh ’s first review of the year

liked it
I am really glad, I am the guy she calls when she needs a fake boyfriend.

3.5 stars, I get it now, why people love it so much.

It had all the ingredients of a hallmark movie:
cosy small-town vibe,
Fake dating trope,
a holiday theme,
Relatable characters with tragic pasts
and a happy ending.

I loved the banter in the book, there were some moments that I literally laughed out loud. And everyone in my family was looking at me as if I was a weirdo.

Read the good old classic

I always wondered about the origin story of Hercule Poirot, and I finally got around to reading The Mysterious Affair at Styles. Let me tell you, I was living for every moustache-twirl, every cryptic remark, and every triumphant “Ah-ha! moment.

Reading this made me feel like I was living my childhood days, trying to solve a mystery with a sagacious detective. I
