What Kind of Mother by Clay McLeod Chapman

Bray’s first review of the year

first read of the year! I’m not sure what to think of this one. It was sort of a mix of supernatural, sci-fi, horror, mystery book. It certainly was easy for me to read but having boy turned to crab? I’m going to have to read up on this and decide what I think about it when i’m able to fully grasp and understand the reasoning that the author has given.

3.75 stars. I understand why I loved this book when I was in middle school. It’s a love story while also a becoming of age, about a girl who is unapologetically herself until she tries to change and can’t. Id say this isn’t an HEA, but that is part of what makes this book so special
