it was amazing
Objectively, this is a bad book. I don't deny it.
BUT the fact that the audiobook became a comfort (AHAHHA) reread/relisten for me says otherwise, so imma rate this 5 stars when it definitely deserves less. Could use way more relationship building because they fell in love so suddenly from the 'enemies' phase. Kinda cheesy towards the end but this is the first book I’ve picked up (physically and not audio!) this year because I’ve been in a year-long reading slump. Which is wild because 2025 is one week away wtf ðŸ˜
SJ Tilly is quickly becoming a favorite author after her amazing Alliance (mafia romance) series and I’m amazed at how she can write so many subgenres. So excited to dive into her backlist!
