This was my second reading of this book, something I rarely do, but I recently saw a paperback copy at a book sale and was flooded with memories, a strong emotional tug to read again.
Absolutely stunned the first time, even more astonishing this time. Winton is one of the greatest living writers, certainly a candidate for the Nobel in my humble opinion. These linked stories will haunt the reader with the beauty of his writing, but capable of bein
