it was ok
Quite baffled with some of the high praises this book has received. I personally found it just continuing the mediocrity of the first trilogy.
A lot of plot points are introduced, even when plot points from the previous trilogy remain unresolved. The most glaring of which is the demon - kinda felt baited by that as nothing more than an excuse to write another trilogy. I guess the next book will bring the demon back?

A man who was wrongfully accused of brutally murdering his wife goes on a murder spree against demon-pigs wanting to take over the world. Yes, it sounds kinda wacky and it is. The best part is that it actually came out of a passage in the Bible. How exactly do they plan on taking over the world is just a MacGuffin though, so the revenge angle is more on point.
