A wonderful surprise that was lighter on mystery and much deeper on wrenching emotional depth, with one of the best first person narration styles I've read in a long time! Definitely recommend, especially on audiobook. ...more

It certainly has the slow pacing of its time period and isnt all that thrilling of a story but it gets a bonus star for a classical piece of literature with an evil lesbian diva vampire
