Still figuring how to place this book. I enjoyed aspects of it but the writing was made difficult to just get into the flow. Overall, I enjoyed his focus on what sacrifice is, but why does he begin with referencing Girard as being opposition but never really engage Girards work? I would recommend reading but it left me with more questions than answered with how he is reading the texts. But that would move into theology, whom’s arena this book is
