This book started quite rough for me. I found the first chapter to be quite boring. When I got to the Imelda's first chapter, I thought I had a dud copy of the book. Her point of view is written without punctuation, which was extremely difficult to read.
Althought quite long, I loved the story of the Barnes Family, and I especially loved the shock ending of the book!
