really liked it
I just told my husband and teenage daughter that this book "has the heart of a Kate di Camillo book but with like, *tons* of swear words and a few drug-related murders. And occasionally earthy." And I stand by that assessment.

The Warmth of Other Suns prepared me to better understand books with this type of setting. Seeing it in novel form was fascinating.
