I am haunted by the things that happened in this book.
rin: okay first of all, fang runin is such a cool name. rin was such a complicated, ambitious character that l, at times, deeply resonated with. especially when she was in her academic validation era. she had so many LAYERS. she's one of the bravest, strongest fmcs l've read.

oh, nate hawkins, how I love you.
things I liked:
nate hawkins: well, *obviously*. he’s just perfect, not a single flaw about him. he’s attentive, caring, passionate, protective, and the most golden golden retriever. I love him, and I can’t say it enough!
