Pleasant and Well Meaning
Sort of a “Sweet Valley High� for the non-het set, this story tries to pack a lot of happenings into one series setup. A lack of thorough character development however eventually makes wish one wish it were over about halfway through. A Pleasant, Predictable Read
Friends to Lovers is always a fun journey to read and Alexander handles this portion of the story very well. What is missing is a true understanding of how hypermasculine men (especially military men) truly interact with each other in bro relationships especially those that have crossed over into bromance territory.
