really liked it
i’ve never read a novel that easily weaves the stories of four generations, their joys and their sufferings, so intricately and realistically as susan abulhawa did with her novel, mornings in jenin.

published in 2010, in 322 pages she wrote about life in jenin, palestine before the start of an seventy five year occupation, the rise of palestinian resistance, the 1982 war in lebanon and life during occupation, in palestine.
