Hannah’s first review of the year

it was amazing
I was addicted to this book when I started reading it and think I read it all in about a day. Very good story. The main characters aren't your usual easy to love type (apart from Peeta) but you still root for them just the same as you begin to understand why they are the way they are. ...more

The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding by Agatha Christie

Hannah’s last review of the year

really liked it
What a delightful Christmassy read. Lovely foreword from Christie herself talking about how Christmas was for her as a girl and how that inspired this story.

Hercule Poirot is persuaded down to the countryside for a proper old fashioned English Christmas, complete with snow, stockings and the lighting of the Christmas tree. Christie describes it all so well you feel like you’re there!
