'Girl from the south' is one of my favourites because it is set in two places - London and South Carolina. I was influenced by this and used the idea in my first novel 'Cry for me Argentina' that takes place at different times in Bath, Manchester, Switzerland and Argentina. I hope to improve on this idea in my next novel 'Father's Dead & Mother's Vanished - a girl's search for the truth'. This novel takes place in England, Bordeaux in France and finally Haiti.(less)

Amazon/ Createspace has made this possible for us all. Not too keen on the marketing side because it is too time consuming and prevents us from getting on with the next book!(less)

“Sybil and Nancy leaned over to catch a glimpse of the sun sparkling on the muddy waters of the River Plate. The skyscrapers stood proudly in clumps and Sybil assumed that the patches of green were parks. In no time the plane was screeching to a halt and they had arrived in Buenos Aires.”
Phyllis Goodwin, Cry for me Argentina: Inspired by a true story

Majenta Greetings, Phyllis! Thanks for contacting me. Congratulations on your books, good luck with future ones! Happy reading, writing, and everything else. I hope you're having a good week and month. Blessings!

Best wishes from Majenta

Carol Cork *Young at Heart Oldie* Thank you for your friend invite, Phyllis.

I'm actually English by birth, born in the town of Walsall on the edge of the Black Country, but have lived in Wales for nearly 11 years. My husband is Welsh by birth but his mother moved to the Midlands when he was only one year old. He has taught me the correct pronunciation for lots of Welsh words and can easily pronounce Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch !!

I read almost exclusively historical romances with the exception of J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series (paranormal romance) which a friend on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ recommended to me some years ago. Reluctantly, I read the first book and became totally addicted to the series!
