Caden is an accidental author. He is not sure if he was born on this world or another, since he was adopted and knows little about his birth parents. As a junior attending the University of Montana, he became a Walt Disney World intern. Caden is currently unemployed as he begrudgingly moves from town to town. At this time, he has won no writing awards and never meant for these journals to be published. Caden loves animals and hopes that one day this craziness will end so he can meet a nice girl and settle down with a wife, pets, and future children. Presently, his whereabouts are unknown.

I've started reading it and I just want to be clear: there are two characters, Caden, and this Michael Cardazia, whose journals Caden is recounting in a journal of his own? Seems like some serious writing gymnastics there. Why did you decide to write the story that way?

Is the Caden in Caden's Journals you? I'm just curious because when I started out, my alter ego in the story was my thirteen year old self, until she began to grow up. It surprised me that a character that was definitely me could became definitely someone else after a certain point.
