Amanda Hill is a native from Chicago, IL and she's had a love for books ever since her mother let her read The Coldest Winter Ever and Flyy Girl when she was thirteen years old. Now residing in Houston, TX and being a stay at home mom, she wanted to try her shot at writing.

Amanda loves a classic hood tale but wanted to read something a little different and when she couldn't find, she decided to write it on her own. When she became a published author she knew the name Amanda was just too common and wanted something that would stick out to readers.
